The Balfour Beatty Bailey Joint Venture (BBBJV) Project Team at Hinkley Point C held a successful event for prospective suppliers in Bristol on 18 July. Over 170 attendees received an overview of the project and our electrical scope, including an insight into its phenomenal size, scale and the wide ranging opportunities that will be available. 

The BBBJV team also took the opportunity to share the quality, procurement and engineering expectations and reinforce the importance of embedding a nuclear safety culture.

The event had a truly global reach with suppliers travelling from across the UK, Europe, America and China, demonstrating the huge appetite to be involved in this extraordinary project. Feedback from the event has been excellent with 100% of the attendees saying that they enjoyed the day.
